  • Should I cement my fence post?

    We suggest that all chain link and wood post be cemented in the ground. Post heave only happens when the top of the post footing is larger than the bottom. So we suggest that you dig the bottom of the post footing larger than the top.

  • Do I need a permit for my fence project?

    All city and township ordiances vary. It is advisable to contact your local building department to find out the fence requirements.

  • Do I need special gate hardware for my swimming pool?

    YES!!! We stock special BOCA approved self-closing adjustable hinges, and self-latching latches that will give you piece of mind and also pass the BOCA CODE. Check the product part of our site under BOCA POOL FENCING to see the hardware in action.
  • What does BOCA code mean?

    BOCA (Building Officials and Code Administrators National Building Code). This code was inacted to keep construction on danger areas safe. A pool in a back yard has to pass this code for safe use. Includes spaces between top and bottom rails, spaces between upright pickets, hinges and latches on gate areas.   • Will rust from well water come off a PVC fence?
