SOUTH LYON FENCECO

HOW TO FENCE

ANCHOR INSTALLATION:Ground Anchors provide an easier, quick and equally reliable method of installation position anchors as illustrated in figure 1 and proceeded as shown below.

First determine the location of end, corner and gate post which are referred to as Terminal Post (See Figure 1). For positioning of gate post see step 9 on page 4.

POST DEPTH:Post depth will depend on length of post before setting.

NOTE: Depth of post same for Ground Anchor or Concrete.

Next Mark the ground line on all posts with crayon or chalk for the correct height of the fence you are installing. Measurement A sould be 1"-2" longer

than the height of fabric. Measurement B should be 3" shorter than the heright fabric. See figure 4 and 5 for additional information.

Measure the distance between posts and check line post spacing chart (See figure below) for exact distance to allow between line posts.

Next search string tightly from outside of terminal post to outside of next terminal post, 4" below top of post(See figure 5). If concrete is used be sure it has hardened enough so posts remain plumb. The line posts should be installed so that the center of line posts will line up with terminal post centers. This means the outside faces of the line posts will be about 1/4" inside the string line. When installed, the top of the line post should be even with the string (See figure 5). Now regularly checking plumb with level, drive post and anchors or if concrete is used, dig the line post holes (See figure 2) and set the line post using concrete mix formula described in Step 2.
